Little Tyke
Yesterday Nate and I got to see our little guy on 3D ultrasound, and it was just amazing! We are so excited to meet this boy and hold him and get to know him, and this just made us even more ready. The doctor said he looks very healthy, and that he weighs about 4lbs., 4 oz., which is big for his gestational age (32 weeks). I know those measurements can be off, but we're not expecting a small child since Nate and I were both big, our siblings were big, and I have at least two grandparents who weighed in at over 13 pounds!!! We think we can already tell whose nose, brow/forehead, and chin he has. What do you think?

Showers
Here are a few pictures from my baby showers in Texas.
I am sure both of my readers already know this,
but I am officially a terrible blogger. Occasionally, I need a kick in the booty to get motivated, and my friend Stacey gave me just that kick this morning. Thanks Stace.
I can't believe I have done so little writing on here about this pregnancy. Especially since I've loved every minute of it, and have felt fantastic almost the entire
time. Feeling this life growing, kicking,
flipping, and punching inside of me has got to be the coolest thing I will ever experience. I am so excited to meet this baby, but in a way, I think I might miss being pregnant. Who knows...maybe I'll change my mind after I get a little bigger. Either way, I can definitely see why my mom did this a few times. It's fun!
So, I've been doing some nesting lately. I actually pulled the refrigerator away from the wall to clean behind it on Tuesday, and I've been a whirlwind of clean (as Nate likes to call it) for days on end. I've got boxes of stuff waiting for a run to the Salvation Army, and the nursery is somewhat together. Shelley and Cori are coming out next week to help me decorate and finish a couple of other projects I want to complete before baby. I have to say that the whole nursery bit is not as big of a deal to me as it is to some moms, so it's not going to be decked out or anything, but I will post some pictures after Shelley and Cori help me finish it off.
My 3 favorite Muleshoe shower guests - Braylee, Will, and Levi. They kept the crowd entertained, and diverted attention from me (yippee) by bringing me gifts to open, helping open gifts, and testing a few of them out for our little guy. I love these little guys.
I have more pictures to post, but I'm getting really irritated with Blogger right now, so I'm going to put them in a later post.
